"Looking for a road map to address the right to health care: comparative frames"

Santander, Spain 24-28 September 2018 

This Jean Monnet Summer School is an intensive training seminar to provide a comparative overview of different current challenges in the field of Health Law and Policy. The seminar adopts a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach and is focused on both theoretical and practical aspects exploring current legal and policy issues which impact on patients´ rights and responsibilities of health providers and policy makers. Experts from across Europe and the Americas will be brought together here to share their expertise in this area.

The workshop is addressed to participants from different backgrounds such as PhD candidates, healthcare practitioners and researchers, policy makers, health lawyers and undergraduate students. Scholarships are available under Registration tab.

Successful participants in the course will be included in a list of collaborators of the Jean Monnet Network to allow them to be involved in national and international activities. A book will be published based on seminar lectures and a selection of submitted papers of participants.
